How TDRO works
Six steps from listing to token claim — with investor protection built into every raise.
List
A promoter lists the project with token details, a USDC target between $10K and $1M, and launch preferences.
Community Voting
Any wallet can upvote or downvote with credits; no investment is required. Votes use quadratic cost and help projects reach their target-based threshold.
Thursday Launch
One launch slot every Thursday. The launcher selects an eligible carried pick, revealed pick, or ready-queue listing on-chain.
Raise
Deposits open in USDC with a 100 USDC minimum. 20% is initially released (18% promoter, 2% platform), held until the minimum raise is reached.
Time-Decay Refunds
Withdrawals open on day 45. The refundable share then decays by 0.25% each day until the 365-day term ends.
Token Claim
At day 365 the term ends. Remaining locked funds are released and sale tokens become fully claimable by investors.
Voting Rules
Anyone with voting credits can vote on a listing. You do not need to invest. Credits cost 1 USDC each. On each listing, your first vote sets your direction; you can cast up to 5 votes, and total cost is the square of votes cast (1, 4, 9, 16 or 25 credits). Votes are final and cannot be refunded. A wallet can comment after voting.
Time-Decay Refunds
When the 10,000 USDC minimum raise is reached, each deposit clock starts and its initial 20% release is split: 18% to the promoter and 2% platform fee. If the minimum is not reached within 30 days of launch, the listing fails and investors can recover 100%. Withdrawals open on day 45. The refundable share then decays by 0.25% daily through day 364. Investors choose Full or Half; Half must pay at least 500 USDC. Remaining tokens can be claimed after day 365.
Listing Rules
A promoter sets a target from 10,000 to 1,000,000 USDC and locks the project tokens. A token can be listed once. A listing needs a preference and must hold its score threshold after its first preference to become eligible. The platform opens at most one listing every Thursday. Deposits start at 100 USDC, with one deposit per wallet per listing per day; no sale can raise more than its target.
Key rules
Using the contracts directly
You can use Base contracts without the TDRO website.
1. Find the verified contracts
Use the configured launchpad and escrow addresses in the environment file and verify them on the block explorer for the selected network.
2. Prepare USDC
Read usdc() from the deployed contracts to identify the accepted token. Approve the relevant contract to spend only the required amount.
3. Buy credits and vote
Call buyCredits with a whole number of credits. Then call vote with the listing number, direction and vote count. Check the quadratic cost first; votes cannot be reversed.
4. Deposit and manage refunds
After a listing launches, call the escrow deposit function. Keep the deposit ID. Use its own clock to check settlement, Full or Half withdrawal, and token claim after day 365.
Transactions require ETH for network fees and confirmation in your wallet.
